The upsell is the common marketing term for when a business offers more products/services on top of the current order that are relevant to the base order. For example, if you buy a cup of coffee from your local café, the person at the till may also recommend or offer for you to get a cookie/doughnut/cake as well. Upselling works very well, because psychologically the buyer has already made a commitment to buy a product/service, so it then becomes very easy to him/her to accept another.
